They're a bit slow, but the engine howl is beautiful. As above, the spiritual successor to the old NSX. Great purchase.
Slow? Unless you drive a V8 Atom to Tesco, I highly doubt that.

Cant wait for some noise clips! Please post up ASAP!
They're about the same speed as a Golf R with a remap. And you really have to wind them up to go fast. Incredible sound, though. Possibly the most beautiful noise ever to come from a car.

FFS it does 0-60 in 3.7.

Edited to say just seen you are making over a 100 posts a day. Every day. Without fail. Jesus Christ.

Top class trolling. Dedicated too.

Still, nearly ten posts a day of mostly complete cobblers.

I've seen an LFA on track and another on the road (I think the numberplate was LFA 1, the car was bright yellow), as others have said, they make an absolutely incredible noise. Should I somehow come into Euromillions type money, I'd go out and buy an AMG GT and a fast estate on day one (E63 or C7 RS6) and the next purchase would be an LFA. One can always dream....

Hats off to you, I'm insanely jealous! Probably my all-time favourite Supercar (possible along with the F1 and XJ220). Please keep us updated with all the details that I'll never get to experience!

Magnificent! My all-time favorite car.

I have only seen one in the flesh – not surprising really given how rare they are – which was at Goodwood. The noise of it going up the hill was something else. They’re surprisingly quiet from the outside – at least compared with other modern supercars – but the tone and pitch is something else.

Very, very jealous! Enjoy!

Custard test...
So I was somewhat expecting a custard test. Which is fine, I’d ask the same. I went through this with my 250. It’s impossible to do a custard test as A) I don’t like custard therefore don’t hold any in the house and B) I’ve not got the car yet.
I do however have a vast collection of other supercars that I’m more than willing to ‘custard test’ if that apeases the naysayers.
Also, I might have just found a video of me seeing it for the first time with Franco but unfortunately it’s saying the file is too big, please go back and resize it. Any ideas?

Yes but have you heard about those weird people that sit on there all day trolling whilst their mums hover up around them. I’ll stick to the enthusiasts thanks.

Lovely lovely LFA, it's really nice to see someone of means buying exotica that's a bit more left-field and unusual.

So many of the better off around here drive the same old stuff, think i've seen enough bentleys/masers/porsches to last me a lifetime.

LFA is a car for someone who knows about cars. Ferraris, Porsches (most of them), Lambos etc....all for people who care about how they look, and that filters down into the brands like BMW, Merc, Audi et al. They put image above everything, because (performance versions aside, which I'm still not fussed by but at least see the point of paying a premium for) other than a glovebox that clunks when it shuts a tiny bit nicer, most of them offer nothing a Ford, Honda or Vauxhall doesn't .
Drive a black LFA down the street and I doubt it'd turn many heads. Go for a drive on your own in the countryside, and the smile will last a week.

Perfect cloud9

Couldn't agree more.

If I ever have money (unlikely), something like an NSX or the LFA would be far preferable to the usual "sports luxury" cookie cutter stuff.

LFA is an absolute grail to me. It's not about pure numbers or showing off.
It's a genuinely exciting car. Not the fastest thing out there, but so what?
Always makes me think back to the F40. Some kind of purity about it. Which is not often achieved, especially in the modern world.
Sounds stupid and cliche I guess, but it has that X factor, what a lot of journos call "soul."
Enjoy it OP. I'm very jealous!

It's very easy to pick out the dreamers from the few with the means to be able to own these cars.

I for one never doubted the OP. No custard required.
