My LFA is finally ready.
Discussion
It's threads like this that make PH great. I'm not much for posting (expert lurker) but OP, I tip my hat to you. I think its safe to say I won't ever own an LFA but I feel I can take away some feeling of what it's like to own one from this. You're a true petrolhead and thanks for sharing your collection with us. Your instagram is pretty awesome too (I've watched the video of the LFA revving countless times already!)
Is it just me but the lexus visually doesnt excite me in the above pics compared to the aperta...
Its a technological master piece no doubt, but when its sitting in the company of that aperta wow it looks so understated..
Im really not a yellow car man but that just works so well, as does the recent 720s in yellow some lucky PHer is collecting soon...
Value wise i pressume the aperta and LFA are similar?

I think the (relative) understatement is part of the LFA's appealIts a technological master piece no doubt, but when its sitting in the company of that aperta wow it looks so understated..
Sat and read this at the end of my night shift yesterday,
I originally thought it was the story of a genuine car enthusiast happy to share his car experience and collection with the community, which is a pretty decent thing in itself.
Carried on reading through and this thread really opened up and developed into an amazing story, great community spirit and a great read throughout.
Came away from the night shift in a much more appreciative and inspired mood than I entered it.
2MC I think I may have sent you a message a little prematurely, as I only spoke about how nice it was to see someone offering insight into their car life, its really inspirational to see how much of your personal story, charity work and support you have offered out to everyone. Thank you for being a decent guy with a great outlook on life, sorry something so awful had to happen to a guy that seems so decent.
Hopefully catch you out in the peaks over the summer, I'm Derbyshire based so the other side unfortunately, but I'll definitely wave as we pass each other!

Hi everyone
I’ve been crazy busy lately (new business ventures and an upcoming wedding) but I’ll do my best to go through the comments and reply to everyone.
Lots of new toys for 2018, it should be a good year.
Cheers
Pete
Oh, and just to reiterate, my favourite car in my fleet is still my Fiat 695, probably always will be too.

Jeez, that's high praise indeed. Gotta try one of these. Loved the colours of the Maserati edition that Joe Macari have, but it's a soft top.I’ve been crazy busy lately (new business ventures and an upcoming wedding) but I’ll do my best to go through the comments and reply to everyone.

Just one thing
Sounds weird, but can you pay it forward please. Do something positive for someone else, that’s all I’d like and we’ll have some fun blasting around in it.
Cheers
Pete
Chapeau, Pete.

The LFA is very colour dependant imo, in black it’s good looking but also stealthy. Partly I think because of that Lexus badge, in blue or yellow it’s striking and sexual to look at. Loving the latest purchase by the way, any Ferrari race car will always be an epic toy!

You really have to see the LFA in real life, it’s like the Batmobile. Very visually striking. Its a technological master piece no doubt, but when its sitting in the company of that aperta wow it looks so understated..

Value wise I’m not sure nowadays as the LFA is rising at a tremendous rate.
I have no problems talking about what the cars cost but it’s something I don’t want to just focus on, so we’ll just get it out of the way now.
The LFA is about £500k
The Aperta is about £700k
