Picked up this Pre-registered delivery mileage 440i Coupe last weekend.

Mexico Blue is an original Porsche colour, and a BMW individual colour which I can't imagine many people spec given the ridiculous cost. Having said that, there are 3 others on the BMW AUC site at the moment.

List price works out at a crazy £56715, but I paid nowhere near that. Very happy with it so far.

Spec is as below.

BMW Individual Mexico Blue
BMW Individual Opal White Merino Leather
Piano Black - BMW individual
8 Speed sports automatic transmission
Standard kit
LED foglights
LED Headlights
LED Taillights with dynamic brake lights
Ambient lighting
Split folding rear seats
Electric front seats with memory
Cruise Control with braking function
Rain sensor with automatic headlights
Automatic Air Conditioning 2 zone
Parking distance control front and rear
Heated front seats
Armrest front sliding
Extended Lighting
DAB Digital Radio
Media Package - BMW Professional
Navigation system - BMW professional
Remote Services
Full Black Panel display
Msport Plus Pack
High Beam Assistant
Msport Braking System
Harmon Kardon Loudspeaker System
Sun Protection Glass
19" 704M Bi-colour Orbit Grey Wheels
Innovation Pack

Beautiful colour. Shame they dont "keep" these colours for full fat M models (3/4/5 etc) Kind of spoils it that you can get a "normal" series in that colour. Same gripe with estoril blue. Used to be for only the M models and now you see them 2 a penny on 118d. Waste of a very special colour.

You wouldn't have a 328i in the "special" Santorini Blue if that was the case...... wink

Massive waste of paint on a 328. Would take a black one in a heart beat. Spec overruled colour

I'm sure the 1st owner disagrees, but each to their own I guess.....

Perhaps you should take a tin of hammerite to yours.

Love it! Always good to see a light coloured leather and a bright paint colour. I wish you many happy miles together.

On the origin of Mexico blue, I think, as a Porsche colour, it originates from the Carrera Panamericana Mexican road races back in the 50's? Anyway, who cares, it's lush!

Looks almost identical to Laguna Seca, which featured on just a couple of Z3M Coupes & a few more E46 M3's... In my eyes, a lovely choice, pastel blue to cut through the seas of black, red, blue and black that are seen on a regular basis. Hope you enjoy it.

Very nice. Love seeing common (you know what I mean) cars in not so common colours. Makes a massive difference.

Stunning car. Colour looks like a cross between Santoroni Blue and Laguna Seca Blue but it does nt really matter because it s a stunning car in a stunning colour in it s own right , enjoy it .
