Da iawn Coch! I remember the days when you bought this focus (or one very similar?) back in the day (11 years?! where does the time go!) with a 1.4 16v! When we were running around in saxo's! biggrin

Neis iawn wa!

As Clarkson would say, I’ve had a major trouser incident!
This. Is. Stunning!
Well done OP, I am in awe at the job you’ve done; can I put my name down for first dibs if you ever decide to sell it (bit looking at the job you’ve done I guess hell will freeze over first!?!?)
May I be rude and ask, how do you get on insuring such a modified beast, and what sort of premium does it carry. Feel free to tell me to mind my own beeswax!

Great build.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is that a fuel pump under the car in the pic showing the Diff? If so would it not be a good idea to protect it a bit more?

Great car, I still see your name on Passionford threads.

My 205 4x4 shell is in at MK motorsport at the moment as Mark is fitting a Wrc cage, full WRC rear cradle (I used to have his 6 degree beam like yours and he adapted it to take the supra diff) and I already have the Wrc hubs, tca’s, bladed roll bars and comp, struts etc. The cradle will then run Black Art suspension where all 4 will be front coilovers and sit in WRC turrets on the back. He has made it all in t45, including the cage to keep weight down.

My engine is a 2.2 stoker, it mapped at 710bhp but I am down tuning it as my 205 is only about 1000kg so a smaller Borg Warner efr will be going on. Probably under 600 bhp

Mine is 4x4 with oppliger close ratio box but uses quaife front diff and same weir kitted supra diff as yours on 3.9 ratio so it tops out at 160mph at 8000rpm but gets there a lot quicker than standard ratios.

The only Ford Focus I’d consider owning! Brilliant work! OP! Also, for the same reason you state (& loving the terminology too), all the others are gay wheel drive!!!! :-D

Fantastic car OP. thumbup

Reminds me of the T-shirt slogan - Old Fords never die - they just go faster!

Very nicely built, and it looks really stealthy - just great!

Great car OP.

Can anyone find the thread from late last year when someone got a pasting for posting a similar car.

Yes mate I keep an eye on your thread with a lot of interest, love it! Should be epic once complete and you're happy with it smile

Thanks mate, I do hope this will be nearly the final evolution although a 6 speed sequential still interests me.

Fact you just said that, it's inevitable you'll go the Elite route

But just remember, although it's an epic piece of kit, you have to ask yourself why Punton's Escort keeps coming back up for sale on Ebay. Perfect in all aspects, but a sequential for road use just gets annoying and difficult after a while. Track though, phenomenal!

Very cool conversion. Certainly something of a sleeper, could be a 1.6 with a nice set of wheels. I like the clean unfussy look.

Trying to slide on sticky RS-R tyres and a 6 degree beam at 3 Sister Track in Wigan smile Ordered some harder coilover spings for the front, really needed!

I bet that confused a few spectators. Nice car though. Glad you are keeping it subtle.

That is a really cool Ford. It is so understated but has a hint of something special underneath.
