My Duster is on long term loan to a family member because I bought this the other month:

A 2002 Boxster S with 135,000 miles on the clock yikes. It’s had plenty of maintenance over the years though, including IMS, RMS, clutch/flywheel all within the past couple of years.

Drives well although it has a bit of a clunk from the front end when it’s warm. That’s for future TP to worry about.

I’ve done about 1000 trouble free miles so far - that noise cloud9. Love it.

First job has been a really good clean, removal of the aftermarket side repeaters and those stickers!

Looks far tidier now.

Coming soon: a really very cheap Panda 100HP and a 300 mile drive home....

I keep thinking about these but then I get scared of a big bill. I can buy a Micra and end up with a huge bill so I might as well set up an account at the garage before I buy one of these. I just need to avoid eBay while drunk!

I'd have left the side repeaters and certainly the stripes just for comedy value.

Sounds like you are building up a rather cool little collection that's right up my street. The Panda 100bhp is still such a great looking little thing.

I’m trying so hard to ignore the potential for big bills biggrin

Some of the service history makes for uncomfortable reading.

Bottom of the market for a running S with MoT seems to be around £4500. I paid £6000 for this one purely on the strength of condition and how much work it’s had recently (I figured it’s done it’s bork moment at least for half an hour or so)

Maybe slightly salty for the mileage, doesn’t keep me awake at night though smile.

Having watched prices of Boxsters for a few years now, they have definitely bottomed out and if anything prices are starting to creep up.

Glad you took the stickers off!

Made it across the border so far with only one minor hiccup - positive battery cable was loose!

Home biggrin - it drives pretty well. I reckon the rear bump stops have made a run for it just like the SOTW car though!
