Wheels.
I was pretty keen on minilites but a mate put me into these:

Pretty good value and available in 13x8 & 13x9.

That's a really cool project.
Thanks very much. Not much happening yet, just collecting bits.I need to prime the whole shell pronto and crack on with dry build before she goes for paint (and i need to make THE decision. Back to green today. Stay tuned) :
Engine mounts
Sort steering rack position and maybe replace cross member and rack mounts
Get all the various brackets in place
Make sure all holes are in the right place!
I need to make a decision on suspension very soon.
As much as I'd love a set of Reigers my budget won't stretch to £6k for four coilovers.
Gaz do a set of adjustable front coilovers that already have stub axles attached.
They also do matching rears with 2.25" springs so i can fanny about with spring rates. I've never had any Gaz suspension components on any car I've owned, anyone know anything about them?
I'm hoping for something akin to an s2 Elise setup - softly spung with firm damping and awesome body control. Spring rate easy enough to adjust but i want something with a proper range of bump and rebound adjustment.
I could just go down the traditional road of front inserts with a coilover conversion and separate dampers & coil springs on the back. Bilstein do adjustable dampers for such an application.

I wouldn't touch gaz if I was you. From personal experience there stuff is nowhere near as good as bilstein or avo. There customer service is brilliant but product is just better than Chinese stuff in my opinion.
Think it's a brilliant project that could ultimately be let down by the suspension if you went with gaz.
