Bring that Beat back... 1991 Honda Beat
Discussion
Peter been test painting a few more panels, we had some reaction on the paint on the boot lid but the bumper came out well and is lacquered.
I am a bit obsessed with how small this car is, here next to a Mk2 MX5 and it looks 2 foot shorter overall !
Engine bits are coming back from the shop ready to be assembled soon
Peter now getting nice shape on the rear cover, hopefully not long before he can take a mould from it for the fibreglass cover

There's also the option of a chrome Honda badge - as modelled by this green S2000 - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/official-official-foru...

A while back we were toying with air intake and air scoop options, so now weve decided on a 70's F1 style.
Perhaps this could be restyled as a Mr Fusion?

In our (well mine really) pursuit of lightness I asked Peter if we could remove all redundant parts from the car, this included the windscreen wiper/washer stalk.
Few gramms saved there, also love the simplicity of the motorcycle style dash.
Engine block is back
New oversized forged pistons too with old conrods now connected. We may get close to 700 cc with these bad boys
Checked the fuel pump and inside the tank is pretty good apparently
Peter been finishing off the hole he cut in the boot with an Ali sleeve to stop water ingress and tidy it up, still work in progress.
