You might have missed my message from a few days ago, Pete. I sent you my latest email update. There's been a change of circumstances in your favour.
Sorry Abs I’ve not had a chance to check my emails as I’ve not been in the office at all lately. I’m going in on Thursday so will definitely pick it up then.

Cheers
Pete

He was invited out to Modena for the launch

Just to bring things back on track for a little while. I’ve been invited to Modena for a special premiere of the newest special model that Ferrari has to offer. No one knows anything so I’ve heard everything from that it’s going to be a V12 to it’ll be a V8 twin turbo. All I do know is that it’ll be a mini LaFerrari with over 900hp and will cost circa £560,000 as a base price. Looks like it’ll be limited too. Noice.
Looking forward to a video of your time out there (assuming you made it out!) The SF90 looks bonkers

He streamed the launch live on Instagram, looks amazing! No news on whether there was a 'special' model launched aswell, apparently rumours were either 812 Aperta or 812 TDF... waiting for updates when he gets a chance

Aye, found the coverage amusing!

Wonder if the ‘special’ model was the lightweight version that was launched at the same time? Looked a lot nicer, especially in grey!

Could well be, I know they are doing a 'Fiarano' package of some description with the SF90 so might've been that... Have to wait for Pete to enlighten us on his return

Wonder how many miles it's done with the speedo cable disconnected? Certainly does not look like it's only done 7 miles!

I was thinking that when I read it, unless those 7 miles were full on rally miles and a quick hose down after

That is going to take some serious recommissioning not mention painting.
I wonder why the body extensions weren’t painted? I remember seeing these bodyshells outside the Reliant factory inTamworth when they were being assembled and I’m sure they were all painted.

It looks like it was put together out of spares after Group B had already been banned?

Hi everyone

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet lately, had tons going on. My wife and I celebrated 10 years together so obviously I had to lavish her with gifts and time and st. Our daughter got chickenpox so I moved out of the family home for about 10 days as I’ve never had it, took myself of to Italy and saw the SF90 Stradale launch, those of you who follow me on Instagram will have seen my live feed.
Anyway enough of the ‘Ask Jane’ crap, here’s what I’ve been up to.
Been ragging my 250 Lusso around the country lanes on a daily basis.
Started driving my 675lt again after a near 2 year hiatus.
Got the wives Bentayga back out the Bodyshop after she ttted the door a few months back.
Put 2 holes in the side of my GTC4 Lusso the same day I got her car back.
Got pissed at the F8 Tributo launch and put my name down on 3 of them haha.
Went to Italy and saw the SF90 Stradale in its 2 specifications, got my name down on one and managed to get my deposit in before the books closed!!!
Got my spec sheet through from Singer for my DLS, which I’ll be sharing on here soon.
Cancelled my order for the Ferrari Monza after I’ve seen it in the flesh. So yeah been pretty good. Couldn’t make the supercar meet at goodwood because I was in Italy which was a shame because the kids looked like they had a great time.

Hey Pete, Congrats on the 10-year milestone and hope your little girl is feeling much better now.

Funny that about the Tributo trio. Haha.

Saturday at Goodwood was epic. It was more popular than ever before. One of the cars I had a ride in was a black and gold 488 Pista. Have to say it was the most exciting and fastest car I've ever been in. Ups the notch in the supercar game.

I was at a classic car and supercar show in the city yesterday, London Concours, and I saw a Lusso there and thought of you. I was hoping that you might be there too as well as at Goodwood. Your Lusso had been at a previous city car show.

Please do check my email updates if you haven't already. There was some big news for you in them.

I just realised I got this completely wrong. It was the RS200 bodyshells outside the Reliant factory in Tamworth not the 6R4. Doh!
It was in the 80’s so long time ago.
