I’ve read a bit about this, I know mine will be better but I do wish him all the best.

Great news, other than your neuroplasty thing, but it's great to see you are still helping less fortunate people - top man! thumbup

New house with a 28 car garage sounds great, but how long will 28 spaces take to fill? laugh

But I'd love to get to visit your new garage, bar and BBQ one day - even if I'm just an ordinary bd!
Doesn’t matter about ordinary, you’ll be more than welcome. Just stick a tenner in the bucket for charity and grab yourself a burger and a beer. Once it’s finished it will be full every weekend and it’ll be amazing.
Also neuroplasticity is about re-wiring your brain so it’s not as bad as what it seems, I’m just trying to fix my broken head by new stuff. Anyone can do it and I highly recommend it, a change is good.
Are you opening your garage for charity days? If so, great idea and I,d definitely be there, especially if you get the 250 gto.

Been busy with work so only just catching up, glad to hear you've finally got your house sorted, and even more glad to hear that you're doing something for your own mentality/head/memory, good luck with all you're doing.

Neuroplasticity sounds interesting. Where’s best to
find out more about it?

Can it help those with cognitive learning difficulties?

How about we all try being positive and supporting everyone? Yes Shmee has got a bare shed right now, but it's going to look great once finished.

And I'm sure Pete's place is going to look amazing too. Will certainly be paying a visit.

Adam.

Nope, I’ve still got James @ DK on the look out for a 250 GTO series 2 for me. That’s my big purchase
Crikey! How does that work?

Given there are only 7 series 2 in the world do the experts like DK and Talacrest know where they all are? Might have to wait years for one to come up I would guess

I'd guess the owners would receive regular enquiries until one is tempted to part with their car.

Although PH is fundamentally a car forum we are a sociable bunch and most look out for and help one another where, and when, we can. Although I love seeing / hearing about your car antics, apart from the fire, I for one am also interested to hear how you are fixing your head and the options available. So happy to receive non car, head fixing antics too, and what is involved, and how.
Development photos of a 28 car garage also sound very intriguing

Pretty much just this, hence why I said he’s looking for one for me. Hard to come by but it will come my way, oh yes she will be mine, she will be mine.

Yeah I mean I’m always happy to help, so I’ve been trying little things to help rewire my neural pathways. The brain literally is always looking for new things to help it grow, after all it is a muscle of sorts and needs to be exercised.
So I do things that I generally do not like, things that scare me and make me uncomfortable.
So today I shaved my head, because why not. I went to the barbers for a general tidy up but decided in a barbershop full of people to just shave it all off. It gave me really bad anxiety as I thought people were looking at my scars but I got over it and I felt better when I was walking out.
I do things like drive a different never travelled before route, I’ll let the waiter or whomever I’m with in the restaurant order for me but not tell me, so it’s a surprise when it comes. This is all called neuroplasticity, I also meditate a lot and live on the calm app.
I’m also training a lot which helps release a ton of chemicals into your body. Then I do the whole pamper thing, so I’ll spend time taking care of myself. I keep little habits going, like making my bed every morning (even though the cleaners always remake it), I get up at the same time every day even if I’ve got nothing to do, drink plenty of fluid and eat rainbow food.
Tonight I used my acupuncture mat for the first time as I only ordered it last night. Thanks for the speedy service Jeff.
It was absolute agony but I loved it.
Here’s the results.

I took a very cold shower afterwards and now I feel like I could run a marathon.

Pete, aside from cars and a certain brand of shoes, do you have any vices like watches, hand made suits, or anything like that?

Its good to get out of your comfort zone, not so sure about spiky doormats though, I just tend to achieve the same thing by pissing the wife off.

I am getting into running as decided to do a sponsored thing Prostate for cancer this month, well out of my comfort zone.

Pete, inspirational as always.

How long are you managing to lay on the mat for and have you tried standing on it yet?

To those unfamiliar with these things, they are surprisingly relaxing.
