Similar project to mine, although mine will be at a slower rate. You have an advantage with having a KO3S already, thats one of the upgrades i want to do.

Will keep an eye on your progress.
To be honest mate I have the better turbo but your internals are stronger ko3 are good for about 190 not sure How much power your after

Thats true, I'd probably be looking to get to around 220-230bhp - basically top end of what the KO3s produces. Its a simple swap to gain an extra possible 40bhp.

Yeah, the bushes were getting a bit perished so I lobbed a load of power flex stuff at it.
I bought it to replace an E46 318ci that I bought as I couldn’t find a nice unmessed with Golf. It took me 18 months to find that one.
Replaced it with an E46 330ci.

Would have another Mk4 1.8t, they’re much better than people say.

Can’t beat a Mk4 Golf, I’ve had at least 1 of every type from a 1.4 to 3 R32s and everything in between.

Yours looks like a nice example, stock or reliatively unmolested ones are few and far between

Think I am going to have to sell or swap my 18 inch Porsche reps which is a shame because they are mint good tyres too but being 5x112 going to have to use 20mm adapters and that's fine on the rear but the fronts that's just too wide with being a 8j wheel as well

My best mate bought a lovely 3 door one with cream leather.. He unfotunately wrapped it around a tree and died, i think a bit of the understeer/oversteer in wet conditions was his demise. Still it felt like a rapid for only 150 brake !
