Jaguar XE SV Project 8
Discussion
I’ve just been told I have to wait until 2nd week in Jan for mine. I know there’s been a problem registering them.
It’s a pain but on the bright side, it underlines how special they are and how JLR won’t be able to repeat anything like it in the future.
Once we’ve all got our cars, it would be good to go for a drive somewhere together. I know Harry will be up for it.

Absolute fiasco. Car can’t be registered by normal means ... reverting to paper and pen...hopefully get it next week ... 2 weeks after paying for it
For some reason DVLA have changed something in their process for registering new cars that aren't your standard euro box, I'm still waiting for a car to be registered a month on (TBF though that could be down to our admin bods).Absolute fiasco. First run out today, took my boy to visit Caffine and Machine
Practical family car.
PPF investment paid back on its very first drive. On the motorway an unidentifiable object flew up in front of me and hit the bottom of the car as I went over it, the PPF on front carbon splitter took the impact, carbon undamaged.
You can see I chose Valencia Orange to match my sons hair !
Just a gentle pootle there and back, out it’s first 100 miles on.
First impressions are the ride, given the potential of the car, it’s exemplary.
Further thoughts to come as I start to push it.
I might put together an in-depth video if there’s any interest ?
