Nice. They always seem to be different in every picture I see. Light-dark. Flat-shiny. Suppose it depends on the powder supplier and camera angle. Nice finish though cool

Yup; they do change in the direct sunlight/shade etc...

It's a lovely colour; not as flat as anthracite etc, but not as shiny/blingy as shadow chrome, if that makes sense?

Style 66s refurbished in Ferric Grey fitted biggrin

17x8 straight set, sat on 15mm hubcentric spacers, fitted with 235/45/17 XL rated Michelin PS4 tyres

All 4 wheel arches have been scrubbed clean and the arch liners treated too smile Sad, I know, but good to get rid of all the built up cack in there from over winter and pleased to say there isn't a sport of rot or corrosion in any of them at all biggrin

They do look great. Wheel colour on a silver car is a tricky choice but they really suit the car.

Yeah; same as the winter Avon WV7s , but with less 'markings' on them, the PS4s look meatier laugh They appeal to my OCD too as when dressing them with Chemical Guys 'Tire Gel' it spreads nice and evenly thumbup

Cheers smile

It was either going to be Ferric Grey or a bright silver with a sparkle lacquer...

I'm glad I've gone for Ferric Grey biggrin

Lanoguard kit ordered so I can 'underseal' the inner wheel arches (arch liners out jobby etc) and the inside of the sills, rear subframe & diff area too smile

Decided to stick with that for now; it gets good reviews. Know a few folk that have used it and they've reported good feedback on their experience.

More so want to stick with that than go for a black Waxoyl type sealant etc; the car came with a clear coating, want to stick to that and not cover everything in tar biggrin

Also to report back that the PS4 tyres are superb; only done around 120 miles on them so far; but they're grippy, smooth, comfy and ride superbly, quiet too smilethumbup

Full in-depth detail and wash today, inside and out.

Had to shift 1.5 ton of 50-85kg'ish boulders on Tuesday for my glass-backed brother (the load space was covered with a huge tarp and plenty of rubber matting to stave any damage to the interior); still., the sandstone dust got everywhere!

So thoroughly hoovered inside, detailed and Autoglym 'Auto Fresh'd' and then washed, towel dried, tyres and black trim treated thumbup

Well after a week of using & abusing the car (1960s asbestos special garage emptied, ready to be knocked down on Saturday) and numerous tip runs (amazing how much st one can store in a garage) laugh

The cars had a full detail inside & out; a full wash, wax and dry etc and all wheels/tyres dried & treated, all door shuts cleaned and dried.

The dust from all the st in the garage that went to the tip got EVERYWHERE and I had rather a worrying number of very large spiders making home in my car too smash

One dropped down from my sun visor the other day; it soon got hoofed out of the window biggrin

As for work; it's booked in 2nd week of May onto my pals ramps, so I can access the underneath fully to do the Lanoguard underseal stuff; prop will come off to get under those heat shields, so will replace the prop bearing (Febi or Meyle one)

Looking good. I’d go for a Febi coupling as I found they last longer.

What's the plan for the garage - clearly it's been emptied for a reason biggrin

It's coming down on Friday pal; new one being built on Monday onwards smile

It'll be around the same size, but moved back and into garden a bit more, so it won't be for the cars unfortunately

But it'll be taller inside too, so no more ducking and I'll be able to train properly in the garage instead of bits in there, bits on the drive and the stones in the back garden etc laugh

Cheers for that pal; just ordered it smile

It's the Febi donut I used anyways, so makes sense to keep them the same wink
