My brothers and myself were certain we saw two of these today, you weren't anywhere near Uttoxeter this morning around 10am were you?
As an update... the jungle drums tell me that you were likely to have seen these two LB STRs heading to The Really Retro Show near Stafford

I think the round lower fog lights look more in keeping with the look of the car than the rectangular ones. Did any of the rally cars compete with rectangular fog lights? I don't remember seeing any photos earlier in the thread with that combination.

Lots of love for both of these also.

Certainly they did in the early years.I think the round lower fog lights look more in keeping with the look of the car than the rectangular ones. Did any of the rally cars compete with rectangular fog lights? I don't remember seeing any photos earlier in the thread with that combination.
This is Munari in the first ever outing of the Stratos (Costa del Sol rally in 1972):

Note the tall and narrow "periscope", which I suspect was an air intake for the carburettors. The X1/9 Abarth rally prototypes sported a similar arrangement.
Munari again, Tour de Corse '72

I've seen also pictures of Stratos in the Giro with rectangular auxiliary lights, likely to be foglights. I suppose that because part of the Giro was run in racetracks they used smaller, integrated ones so as not to increase drag.
OP just wanted to say caught up with thread today, the PH Video was superb and for a self described shy person you come across brilliantly. I got filmed years ago when they did PH TV a at the Sunday Service at Morgan and thought I sounded awful and a bit of a dick. You didn’t and they filmed and edited it perfectly. I send you a virtual 🍺

Thanks. I'm waiting for the Director's Cut edition containing the other 6hrs of edited material to come out... or more likely a 6hr Bloopers Reel.
My mates said I came across like a dick-head but not a total dick-head. I'll take that as a win,

Ben let me know it had been short listed for an award at the International Motor Film Awards in the Best Documentary Shorts category so I'm sitting at home by the phone waiting on the call from Hollywood.

I've been shockingly bad and only driven the car twice this year. Too many distractions.
Today I pushed the boat out and drove nearly, err, 2 miles from home to a great car meet and 2 miles home again afterwards. Only 10 mins total drive time but I did stay for a couple of hours then spent nearly just as long washing the car again when I got home. Planning on doing better in summer tho.
