Forgot to thank you for the pipe details. Book marked it for when the warranty runs out as that, a cooler and map with courtney sport will be done and ill be happy at that.

About to swap front to back tyre wise to get more wear out of them as rears are like new and fronts aint bad but i cant wait to get rid for something better lol

With regards to tyres can you do that with the TPMS ?

Yes that is corect and one of the best things that I have done as the shifts are so much slicker with the new gear box oil as the hyundai oem oil is not the best .

How does that affect the warranty?

Oh, OK. I mean it's your car and that, but manufacturers use certain specs of oil for a reason. I can't imagine a Hyundai manual gearbox for one of these is a cheap thing to buy (should it st itself on the side of the road). Sometimes oils can even react with each other. If I drain a customer's car oil gearbox oil, I can normally sense what was it in but the smell/look etc.

Not a dig, just make sure you're happy with it. I wouldn't be dicking around with anything like that on a car still in warranty (but then none of my cars are still in warranty laugh )

I do get where your coming from and understand that it can all go ti*s up and that will be down to me but i like a gamble smile

A few people have done the change and it fixed the notchy 5th to 6th gear change and is still the same spec as the OEM gearbox oil so should not be a problem .

So far i've a velossa tech & piper cross pod filter arrived. Looking into front flexi, intercooler (airtec as the forge one paint peels off) airtec bigger boost pipes and air tech air box pipes to keep the air box then a remus exhaust with map once warranty is over. I'm just stashing them for now wont fit anything till its all in the clear

Sounds like a good plan .

With a few simple bolt on parts and a new map / tuning box they do go very well and are a bit quicker than a new CTR smile

When is your warranty up ?

Regards

I've recently bought an I30n. Do you have to buy the Remus from Hyundai in order to get it homologated for the warranty?

An update on the car and everything is well and im still enjoying the I30N very much .

I was getting my track car on the Dyno again so thought i would see what power the I30N is making at the same time .

The dyno run was done at Devil Developments in West Sussex that use a Dyno Dynamics rolling road and was done with the bonnet closed .

The car is running a HDT Motorsport large bore flex down pipe , HDT Motorsport GPD delete , Remus exhaust system and a Race chip tuning box .

A few pics of the car on the Dyno .

And a quick vid .

The car made 307 BHP and 361 LB/FT
