Hipo GTR has to be the pinicle of Skyline GTR's, your a very lucky guy, who obviously works very hard to fund your passion.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi,

yes its genuine carbon.

so the door surrounds, door handles (not shown in the picture), seat side cover, seat inserts, interior light switches (front and rear) and the MFD/ centre console / steering wheel were done. as is the fuse box cover, injector rail.

The fan surround was also done, but as the rad was changed to an ARC one, it's not compatible.

Thanks.

it's complimented by a MY15 GTR (with a few sprinkles from top secret) and the R32 GT-R (shown in another thread)

when i was in tokyo last month, i was talking to Gio who built it as we went out for dinner, and was really great to listen to his stories of how the creation happened and his endless chats with Top Secret. Smokey recently said it was the one car he wanted to keep that he built, which i take as a huge compliment.

the pictures were done last week, as i didnt really have anything recently on record.

Is there any plans to bring either R32, or 34 back to the UK?

The 34 has been in the UK since 2010. The refesh to it happened at 2009 at Top Secret.

the 32 is scheduled post tuning at Midori to be here in 2020 if not before. Taken me nearly 4 years to finish it.

TBH alot is just the sheer cost to develop a GTR now, and japanese tuner prices

hope that helps.

Lovely as the 34 is, they do nothing for me personally. Looking forward to seeing the 32 though smile

it's on another thread on here under "readers cars". Pistonheads picked it up and posted on FB last week i think or week before.

more info on the 32 when it's at Midori Seibi

you will be able to follow the final steps of the build on their blog i believe.

There is a video on youtube of a 320kph run (when it was blue). very old footage from about 2005

(when i saw this for first time at old Omori factory, 2004 ish from memory, ran larger HKS turbines and their drag throttle)

final version (99% as it stands today, old set of custom colour TE37s in this shot)

Awesome coolcool love this and the r32 thread. All about performance and keeping things subtle (as they can be with these cars!) and purposeful!
