Nice to see updates to the R34. What happened to the other twin TS Bayside R34? The Bean GTR?
There wasnt another bayside blue 34. The "Hipo" was the only one.Edited by KJH on Sunday 11th August 11:40
Bean (dave) had 2 midnight purple 34s.
1 was sent to his dad in the UK (who sold it about 3 years ago now to a guy who is in the north east)
the other was kept by a friend of mine who has it in the USA. (runs a T04Z etc)
the one Dave had below for his dad, and sister car to the Hipo

Wow. Just wow.
I must be honest, I'm not totally convinced on the body kit over the standard car but there is no denying that it's a stunning car regardless. Quite a collection too, with the 32 and 35. Not a fan of the 35 personally, but it's an incredible collection to have what many would say are the highest points of the lineage.
The cars are one thing too, but to have that experience in Japan and to have rubbed shoulders with some of the Japanese tuning greats makes it even more special. Thanks to the antics of Max Power, Top Secret are legends in the UK. I'll never forget the footage of the gold R33 in that tunnel in Tokyo. It had quite an impact on a teenage me. Would love a Skyline to this day, but these are sadly a bit beyond me these days.

This history behind this car is very special Indeed and if ever a car was a keeper, this absolutely is it.
There's not many cars that would make me walk past this to get to, at any money.
Couple of questions: what's the suspension & chassis setup?
Are the front wings original Nismo Z-Tune items?
Also - Smokey hasn't aged at all in the 15 years since I first became aware of him

OK, must have mixed up with Dino`s car. Just remember reading and dreaming about the GTR`s on GTR co uk (still at uni with no money at the time). Bean (dave) had 2 midnight purple 34s.

Also the Prospec demo car with the Mine`s engine. Do you know what happened to that?
As for preferring a Lambo, I'm not wholly convinced I'd walk past this to get into a Lambo.
Maybe I would, if faced with the decision, but few cars get my juices going like an R34 GTR does, and this one, by virtue of it's history & spec REALLY gets me going.
