Can we have a strap thread?

Two of my watches need a new strap... one is a daily beater which is probably worth about £20 but it’s got sentimental value so I am keeping it. As such I don’t want to spend loads on it. Like the look of this but not an expert.

The next one is my Monaco. Always felt the gator skin effect is a bit cheesy and now that I’ve broken the clasp it seems a good time to change. Any suggestions for straps or sources please?

Hirsch are good, a friend has a couple and they look decent quality. I also like strapcode and geckota.
Also have had a few zuludivers - they do a fantastic “Italian rubber” one with a carbon weave and a butterfly clasp - it was £40 and needed cuttting to size but absolutely makes a Casio waveceptor that I have, and really shows up the rubber one it came on.

Hirsch are good, I have a genuine black alligator one on my steel Datejust and it looks excellent.

For your Monaco, I recommend Heuerville. I have a black Monaco, got a Bluestone nubuck rally strap made, I'm delighted with it.
