evening all, I thought i'd make a post about my new car, how I came to own it, the spec and future plans

I'll start by saying I actually won this car on a very well known facebook raffle page. I bought three tickets so the car owes me £45 nuts I picked it up Thursday and it was the genuinely the most fun i've had on a drive home. The supercharger whine, blow off valve and Vtec coupled together really just make you laugh out loud. I was really surprised how well the LSD works as it only really spins in 1st with is to be expected with the power.

so... Its an EP3 type R non premier edition, although the previous owner upgraded to the better Recaro premiere seats. The car is pretty much the perfect spec for fast road/track driving which is what I plan on using it for. The upgrades are as follows

Engine/Exhaust/drivetrain

-Rotrex C30-94 supercharger kit
-Front mounted intercooler
-Uprated radiator
-Oil cooler kit
-Single piston blow off valve
-1000cc injectors
-Walbro fuel pump
-Piper manifold and sports cat
-Fujitsubo rm01a cat back (not too loud)
-KPRO V3 ECU mapped by TDI north.
-Baffled sump
-Quaife ATB differential
-K series 5.1 final drive
-Stage 2 clutch kit (unsure of brand)
-Quickshifter

Suspension/brakes

-Steel braided lines
-MeisterR Zeta-R coilovers
-Cyber speeds rear camber arms
-Fast road set up by Eurospec 2000
-Stoptech 4 pot calipers with 328mm 2 piece aero rotors up front.
-Standard calipers on the back with slotted discs.

I haven't really got any future changes planned other than to maybe change the tyres to a more track focused tyre (AD08R's?) as that's what its going to be mainly used for and Sunday hoons. Thats not to say the Michelin pilot sports coupled with the LSD struggle as it only really spins in 1st gear as expected so who knows!

Thanks for reading

A fellow winner! Although mine from another well known comp. Wish I could have kept it.

I bet this must be a right laugh... Enjoy!

Is that the race kit that deletes the AC compressor?

Looks a nice bit of kit and making good power!

What Facebook Group was it from? I've always wondered if they are properly genuine or not.

I believe the car never had Air conditioning to begin with as the button is blanked off.

Dream car giveaways are the only competitions I'll do. They've been around a couple of years now.
