I had the paperwork until a few months ago when I binned it all ....

I actually went around a few forums hoping to find who bought it !

Ah, that's a bummer as the new owner still texts me occasionally. He's putting a decent amount into further mods for it.

Cracking read Ant. That’s some 5page centre spread from Evo or Car mag stuff there buddy. Really enjoyed reading it, never felt bored. Enjoy ur S3, something makes me think we might get a follow up post. 👍😎🚗

Great write up OP, took me three sittings to get through but thoroughly enjoyed it!

Top marks for the skills you've picked up over the years too. Gives hope to all us beginners out here!

Thank you to everybody for your positive comments on this thread! I'm pleased to report that all is well in the land of Audi. The car has now been promoted to my daily driver as I sold my Focus ST recently and acquired this lovely Subaru:

I guess no news is good news! Car has been performing pretty well, and I've just been busy keeping it clean and full of V-Power. I did get the rear windows and hatch tinted just after christmas which I think adds to the look.

And a cheeky photo of 'big and little' with Cams RS6

Will keep you updated with any developments on the Audi, but for the meantime I have a Subaru to tinker with biggrin

Cheers,

Ant

Great read, and like someone else said really interesting to see someone taking a salvage car and doing everything to it to such a high standard. Good work sir!
