I think you are going to be getting a hell of a lot of attention and questions until many others are on the road

Very nice I really like the look of them, I’m based in Malvern, and have spotted quite a few convoys of them driving around.
I’ve been having a mess around with the configuration, I quite like a 90 with the white steel wheels!
The convoys will be from Eastnor Castle where the retailer training is taking place.I’ve been having a mess around with the configuration, I quite like a 90 with the white steel wheels!
Yes, white 90 with steel wheels is the winning spec!
nice car, these are really growing on me. do you have any adventures planned to test it's abilities?
did you have a choice of colour?
I've seen a fair few of these ion site at Whitley and I think dark colours suit them a lot better.
had I the money, I would take mine in dark green with steel wheels

Managed to take a few photos this morning,,,
My car is a D200. Base spec, but with a number of options
Off road height (there is an even higher setting if needed)
Access height (can lock it in this height for low cars parks / ferries etc.)
Standard height
Load space is good and square, with a stretchy fabric load space cover that can be folded away (jack and tools are under the floor, and there is a big storage area under there as well). Mine also has a domestic plug socket to run low wattage stuff (fridge, car vac etc)
Rear seats. Base spec gets fabric seats, which is fine by me. Loads of legroom. Sorry for rotated image...
Front seats. Again, masses of legroom
Cross car beam - this is a structural component made of magnesium which pretty much every car has hidden behind the facia. Defender has it on display, powder coated. Looks and feels really special. The steering wheel is also powder coated
Walk through centre console for access to rear. This is standard on the base car, and will probably be more useful on a 90 for access to rear seats (they tilt as well). Kids will love it. You can also have a traditional centre console with big cubby box or a centre jump seat. Does mean there is nowhere to rest your left arm, and will be interesting to see how that is on a longer journey
New Pivi Pro infotainment. Works really nicely, with CarPlay / Android Auto integration, Spotify and Deezer built in and loads of other cool stuff. This is the 3D Surround Camera screen which allows you to ‘fly’ round the car is very cool, and even shows the brake lights and indicators when in use. Image is not matched to the spec of the car though...
Need to find some better mud, but it looks great dirty
Hope you like them. Let me know if you want to see anything else!

I assume you’ve had the okay from JLR corporate affairs / media / marketing to post about “your” car on here? And they’ll approve any answers to questions?
I’m only asking because my employer would have a fit if anyone given the use of a pre-prod car posted about it on the internet (in fact there is a clause in the agreement forbidding it).
Not having a go, just don’t want you to lose your job.

Thanks. This isn’t a ‘Prototype’ so not an issue to show it.I’m only asking because my employer would have a fit if anyone given the use of a pre-prod car posted about it on the internet (in fact there is a clause in the agreement forbidding it).

(the opposite of all the flash, leaping cars Bond malarky, and it appeals to a different market set, but works very well)
After becoming very disappointed in modern cars of late and the owner of a 200tdi Defender Commercial I was expecting a complete failure here.
This isn’t a Defender replacement imo, it’s a D3 D4 in rugged spec.
I love the look of the materials inside, love how the carpets come out, the side opening door, the ability of a 3rd seat up front, 7 seater etc. It’s the only new family car I think will suit us perfectly.
I hope the reliability is where it should be as when they hit 3 years old I want one to replace my ML.
That, looks awesome!!
Dave!
