Blimey my 2010 - 136,000 mile Alfa has been serviced twice as often as your Alpina.

I'm setting myself up here aren't I? biggrin

Correct.

1 AW (to give it the official term) = 5 mins.

What does AW stand for out of interest?

20k intervals does sound like a recipe for engine replacements, I get antsy when it's been over 10k since the last oil change!

Waitey, do you plan to increase the frequency of the servicing? I guess if 20k intervals get it as far as last time it won't be an issue for you! hehe

I'll keep them at what ever the car says! Its done more than twice the mileage most cars get to without going bang...

If I only did short journeys I'd maybe look at doing them sooner.

My Brera which is 1.75 Turbo Petrol the service book say intervals are 18,000 miles. I'm in my third year of ownership and the car is doing 4-5,000 per year and I'm doing annual servicing.

My Giulietta has the same engine and done 3,000 miles in the last year and is also having annual services.

MOT passed on the first go.

Only managed 11k since the last MOT. It was off the road for 6 months though!

I recently sold my 2002 330 ci sport at 250k miles. It took me 16 years of ownership to take it from 34k to 250k.

Excellent, you’ll beat my 330d record of 250+k miles soon. My current one is only on 170. I probably won’t own it till 250 as I’ve got a 335d to buy.

The true moon mileage is disputed due to the fact it moves!

But the average is 238855 so we’ll go with that!
