1978 Daimler Double Six

Fantastic, looks in great order & blue over red really suits it.
My dad had an '87/'88, S3 XJ12/Sov from new - I believe that was also supplied by Stratstone Mayfair. His was metallic red over magnolia & looked much the same inside.
He always says that the S3 was quicker than the XJ-S that replaced it.

What a fabulous car. While you’re stuck indoors, may I commend to you Stanley Sedgwick’s Motoring my Way (2nd Edition, much more in that one). He was a big fan of the Double Six and frequently raked his over the continent. A taster for you:
Excellent, thank you! I’ll try and find a copy of that. Cheers.Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
