Wow, really JC, you obnoxious little man, not all of us are welding experts so it’d be quite good to understand the why.
Isn’t that the whole point of these videos, to learn and understand something outside of your ‘normal’.
Ignore this as well! ^^^^*Isn’t that the whole point of these videos, to learn and understand something outside of your ‘normal’.
Bloody hell mate calm down - it was a joke. I didn’t realise a dark lord of the sith would be so sensitive! But tbh these aren’t really how to videos are they? There’s loads of videos out there on the hows and whys of welding, watch those and just enjoy these for what they are...
Now let’s just get back to destroying civilisations and torturing coked up princesses and not clog up the OPs thread eh?

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone!
Its a good comment and I'll definitely take it on board. I edit out so much technical rubbish that comes out of my mouth because it all gets a bit nasel and detracts from the momentum in the videos. With them being here on PH I can (try) and answer any questions, or even ask them myself though.
Hopefully I can try to strike a balance between the humour and technicalities going forwards

Great videos, easy to watch and you are actually interesting.
Only thing I’d say for us absolute noobs a little more explanation for some things / what they are / why you are doing it
Sorry, i did check back on here and didn't see this comment or I would have replied earlier! Only thing I’d say for us absolute noobs a little more explanation for some things / what they are / why you are doing it

Hello everyone. another update embedded below.
This one was a bit painful for me, it took two weeks to get all of these in. Most of the time was in getting the fronts positioned correctly. It's super difficult because Nissan didn't seem to take too much care over certain parts of their builds... so you find all the Group A cars varied in places.
Anyway, I got there in the end, there's chuffy noises and everything in this one.
I'm into wire wheeling now... so I don't think I'll have a video update for a couple of weeks. I don't want to make videos unless they actually have some substance in them, so the next one will be paint.
Enjoy!

I've been enjoying catching up with these videos over the last week or so, quite Zen watching someone else welding.
Looking forward to catching up with the latest one this evening - keep doing what you're doing.
Cheers buddy, glad you’re enjoying them. I always find the TIG welding Zen and enjoyable to do, but MIG is just pain and misery if it’s hot in the unit. Looking forward to catching up with the latest one this evening - keep doing what you're doing.
Subbed. I don't know why PH have a dedicated section for projects / build threads. Even if they link out to other forums although I can see why a site wouldn't want that.
IT's refreshing to have a series that's not clickbait central.
Although it does make me wince when I had the chance of buying a standard R32GTR years ago for £6500. If I only I knew then...

Thanks mate. I've had mine for years so it wasn't too far off that price. I'd struggle to justify cutting it around so much if I'd have paid £30k for it.IT's refreshing to have a series that's not clickbait central.

Saying that, they're certainly worth the money. I can't think of many other cars around 25-30k with the same motorsport pedigree.
