Looking for a quick piece of advice here. Looking to buy my first Caterham and curious to know who the most trusted dealers are.

Chances are I would be buying sight unseen and having it delivered.

Thanks!

I'll let others opine on dealers as I've no recent experience. Have you decided what spec you are going for?

Depends where you are based, but Sevens & Classics at Brands Hatch is very good and well trusted within the 7 community. They have looked after me very well overs the years, plus they are all ex Caterham people and know what they are talking about. Give Andy a ring and have a chat.

Thank you, that's a good start.

No spec yet, I drove one at a Palmer race day and realised none of my cars have a gearstick anymore and I need to remedy that!

Jon Vickers at Millwoods, straight as they come, and only stocks good cars.

I doubt that any two Caterhams are set up alike. On the one hand if you buy “sight unseen” You don’t actually know how they will be on the road/track (depending on intended use) or on the other hand you have to factor in the need to drive the car and then dial it in (or get it set up) to your handling preferences.

I found both GP Sevens and Seven&Classic very good to deal with - good knowledge etc and good cars.
