Not a peep. I’ll need to ask my man, as I know he’s busy with stuff and may have forgotten to pass it on.

Always fascinated by this process. Did you use a guide of how to go through the auctions/buying/shipping/insurance etc?

All I do is keep an eye on the auctions. There is an importer local to me that does the rest. Although I understand he then does the Japan side through an agent over there.

Meanwhile…. it approaches bounce

Looks like a good one. Always fancied an Evo model. Might get one at some point. Hope DVLA are a bit quicker now. I waited 8 weeks for shipping then 11 weeks for registration on mine.

You will have to be quick as the prices on good condition ones are rocketing. Next year the early ones will be US legal so likely go up again.

Couple years back you could get a good one for £10k. Now more like £18k plus. A couple of recent jap auction ones in average to good condition will end up over £20k by the time they hit the UK.

Looking forward to the updates when it arrives! The 2.8 I always remember drove well. The 2.5 wasn't great in terms of power or short gearing.

The 6-7 weeks has passed pretty quickly and I’m really to keen to see it and see what actually needs tidying.

Sadly any improvements will be on hold for a while, as her indoors car needs an engine rebuild of around £4k frown

Arrived with the importer.

All I can say is wow! As usual the pics on the Japan side did it no justice. Other than the scuffs we knew about, it looks fantastic!

Just the 2 pics for now, until I can go and see it.
