Morning everyone, this is the thread for my new car, a 2015 Focus Titanium that I collect on the 24th. I asked a friend to run the details through Ford Etis and this was the result. It is a 3 owner from new car, though I suspect the first owner was the supplying dealer and with 93000 miles on the clock. Sorry no pictures at present but I will upload them when I collect it.

I had something very similar except being a 2014 it was a 1.6. Be interested how they drive differently. It was a great car, did nearly 100k I’m 4 years.

These are really good cars. Nice to drive and they will do 70mpg.

Upgraded from the old trusty Focus?! Newer models of these are really nice, especially the interior.

One of my workmates has a 65 reg 1.5tdci estate that he speaks very highly of. This one has done over 70k in the last 2.5 years going by the MOT history.

Yes I am upgrading due to the clutch needing replacing on the trusty old Focus. I was debating whether to do the work or upgrade but partly due to nagging from domestic management and partly having a feeling the old one will turn into a money pit I decided to upgrade now.

Keen to see some photos of the interior.

Mentions it has luxury headlining and the acoustic laminated windscreen, the later could be interesting, finding it very quiet on a cruise?

Yes I had noticed that, I wasn't aware they did them with an acoustic laminated windscreen until today to be honest. I will post plenty of photos when I collect it.

Anyone know if the 1.5tdci has a wet belt setup like some Ford engines do?

Nope.

Regular belt set up 125K interval I think.

Nice looking motor that.

Thanks, only done 5 miles in it so far but I'm impressed, drives really nicely and much quieter than the Mk2.

Do these really do 70mpg? I fancy one to upgrade my shed. Fords usually drive well as well I had a shed of an old focus but it drove nicer than my a3

It's claimed they do but it's too early for me to say either way at the moment, I will keep you updated

I had one and 70 mpg is not realistic for normal driving. I averaged 54 mpg which still isn't too shabby.

636 miles covered today. I will work out the average fuel economy for the trip tomorrow, but doubt it will come out at 70mpg.

9.83 gallons of fuel used yesterday giving an average fuel economy of 64.7mpg. I'm happy with that.
