Glad to hear he's on the mend, sounds like he took a right battering. Progress is looking good, typical project creep, better to decide before paint rather than after I suppose.

All the parts of rear axle were collected from the powder coaters yesterday.
Now the good bit happens !
It's always a joy to put clean fresh bits back together.

A big piece of the jigsaw has been collected. An alloy bonnet, mucho £££ !

The cutting, grinding and welding is finally finished on the tub . A thin coat of stonechip followed by a coat of body colour .

Another couple of coats of colour and while it's upside down it will be fitted up with as much of the underside stuff as possible, starting with heat shields .

You start to realise where the money goes when you start fitting race specification stuff.
Things like mini remote bleed nipple's for the clutch and brakes ,a pair of 6mm nipple's cost £26 ,normal ones are pence to buy
