I love that, especially in silver.

I bet it pulls so well with that big lump.

There was a way to get a digital speedo on that age of VAG vehicle so it might work on the Passat...

It involves changing the speedo country to Australia and then switching it back to mph. You then get an option for showing digital speed assuming the central screen is capable.

You ideally need to plug it into VCDS or similar and have a look at instrument cluster long coding.
Hmm. Interesting. My first port of call is to have a look through the manuals. Need to change the door locking priorities and a few other bits and boobs, so it’s worth me doing a bit of reading.

Anyone know whether Arnold Clark would have a log of completed services, like a car manufacturer itself would?
I bought the OH's Fiat 500 from Arnold Clark. They'd given it a service and when I queried what had been done it was easy enough for them to look it up (it had been on the cusp of needing a cambelt and I wanted to double check they'd done it - they had).

Yes, it’s strong. It’s great to have the torque to punt you along on a light throttle and then rapid downshifts to make the most of the revs. The engine and gearbox work nicely together.
