How many miles on this thing? It looks looked immaculated (sorrynotsorry).
102 miles in total so far
I ordered this one on Nov 1st last year when the Black Inspiration was announced.

I can't disagree that some of the colour combinations are really good, had I gone for a cabriolet then I would have chosen brighter colours. This car being a black inspiration edition, there is no choice beyond some red inserts for the interior. (I didn't spec those because I think it looked a little odd)
The paint is graphite black - so depending on the lighting it looks well...black... or dark grey metallic. (Looks a lot better in the flesh)

I didn't realise it was a special edition, fair enough you didn't have much choice. The paint is graphite black - so depending on the lighting it looks well...black... or dark grey metallic. (Looks a lot better in the flesh)

I can definitely imagine it looks amazing in the flesh. They are amazing. Happy motoring!
That is lovely - and it's great to see some love for Lexus on here
Trivia: like most cars, the LC was first made as a concept. When Akio Toyoda (president) saw it, he told the engineering team to make sure that the real car looked exactly like the concept.
The engineering team came back and said that they could do all of it except the lights. The concept lights didn't actually work properly, they were just ornamentation. It was impossible to make real lights in such a complex shape (with many very thin parts) that would work reliably in the real world and pass safety tests etc.
Toyoda told them to do whatever it took to solve the problem - the lights had to look like the concept.
As a result, the LC has probably the best engineered lights of any contemporary car.

The engineering behind these cars really is something else. Google Lexus Structural Blue paint for example - just obsessive levels of detail.
Tricky to photograph in black, but in person they’re spectacular in any colour. Today I like yellow.
Interesting it’s full leather on the seats not the half alcantara, and that is One. Epic. Wing.

"In their intensive search to create the new colour, the team drew inspiration from nature and the Morpho butterfly. Native to North and South America, this butterfly is renowned for the deep, shimmering blue of its wings. But in fact, the wings are colourless. The blue we see is created by light interference on their microscopic lattice surface structure."
OMFG

Have you thought about PPF if you want to keep it tip-top?
There's a guy nearby that does it, will have to wait now until the bonnet is sorted I guess?Where are you located? PM me if you prefer but you want to check reviews and experiences of other customers before you choose somewhere (obviously).

Great turn out of cars; everything from a Ford GT to a Hyundai N series
I got a few pics as we were lining up in the courtyard, the rest are rubbish and it got quite crowded so getting good shots became really hard. (The event photographer was really struggling, poor sod!)
She's now in for a ceramic coating, hopefully ready for the weekend.
