Not much shocks me nowadays but this made be laugh out loud....

"In remarkably fresh condition, this 911 still turns heads.............the off-side rear tyre does have a sidewall puncture repair."

From the advert

"All four tyres are 2021 items and show a very good amount of tread, but the off-side rear tyre does have a sidewall puncture repair ."

How is that (a) possible and (b) legal?

It's only a tyre, and the rest of the car certainly 'looks' ok - as you intimate, it's how it's been looked after that may be of concern.

However hehe

Can someone who knows the 997 please comment - the front wings don't 'seem' to flow well into the doors - look at the reflections more than the shut-lines. Paint may also be different texture....

I'm sure I'm wrong, but someone may imagine that this is badly finished paint spray into the 'joins'.

other side can't see the join, but clearer on the paint?

I wouldn't suggest any of the above of course, but someone might, allegedly.

ETA this un-sized-by-PH photo might be clearer on the join and the possible respray...

Quote from ad “ The nose of the car is free from significant paint chips or road wear, which is impressive given the mileage the car has covered.”

Maybe because it has had a front end paint job…..

That wheel repair is somewhat terrifying. It makes anything I’ve ever done look like master craftsmanship

Tyre is 100% illegal, dangerous and shocking. Certainly hope no one pays a lot more than the current £22k based on the bodywork, there could be other horrors lurking beneath.

Is a 100k+ miles 997 worth 22k? Or is that the 3.8 that makes it valuable?

...so where is the coolant level?

Now listed on Autotrader

Either the car has been subject to a £10k plus makeover in the past week, (and had all the new paint removed from the front end) or the seller frankly has no regards for the truth.

this car absolutely stunning inside and out . Good Condition HPI clean , just changed 4 new Micheline Pilot Sport 4S and New battery , New Air condition, New Engine oil, No Accidents No rust, Paint is original
