LAMBORHINI MUIRA SV RHD
Discussion
It happened the same with my dad, in a matter of months. Sometimes maybe a blessing?
Anyway, not to detract from your great thread, please keep posting further pics and stories. I’ve been to Norway several times through work and love the scenery and people who are always very welcoming.
Beer prices are eye watering though!!

SORRY - my apologies for spelling it Muira instead of MIURA - l put it down to an age thing now I am 77 - sorry
77? Ah well at least you'll have a clue who those two were! Anyway, fantastic car and great thread. I'll shut up about the misspellings now, but the images that flashed through my mind were too funny to ignore.Roger Collins said:
After all these years I have just realised the is the only photo I have remaining of the Countache - I suppose it was I much preferred the Miura - much more exciting all round
There are some superb period photos and discussions on the PH Lamborghini Classics threads. You might come across some more pictures of it there. Great posts Roger.
There is another member on PH who previously owned a Muira.
Have you come across Michael Hipperson? He also owned a 275 GTB.

Since the late 1960s l have been lucky enough to own a multitude of super cars. Before l bought my first super car l owned 3 Ford Shelby Mustangs. Then I bought a 1971 unique right-hand drive black Lamborghini Muira SV registration number JS 27 from Jonathan Sieff, a director of Marks and Spencer and motor-racing driver in March 1972 ,which had only done 485 miles which l owned until October 2 1975. Photographed in Telemark, Norway in June 1972 with me, my wife and mother-in-law

In reply to the query - 'did I know any other Lamborghini owners' and the answer is only one being Jonathan Sieff of the Marks and Spencer family, who as I am sure your community will possibly remember as a racing driver. As you may have become aware I am no longer a 'spring chicken' but does the name 'Piston Heads' apply purely to motor cars as I was into my propeller driven aeroplanes as well as you can see in the photo of my wife with her father and my my de Havilland Dove aircraft at Oslo Fornebu airport in February 1973 in the snow. Once again the photo beside the one I have already posted of my wife, mother in Law and yours truly with my Miura in Telemark Norway in 1972.
in response to your question - not in my book. If it has pistons please post about it. Your posts are quite fascinating TBH. And to echo what was said by others - condolences on your wife's passingGassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
