Sensible sized wheels for a change, 15".

That will be a hard sell, when you can get a brand new Dacia Spring for £12.25k or 13.25k with the most powerful motor.

Not when you consider the better finish and equipment levels. Just watch the numerous YouTube videos of them shutting the doors on both cars to see the difference...and the Spring got 1 star crash rating. In fairness though, the T03 hasn't yet been tested by NCAP.

One loud criticism has been the lack of Android Auto/Carplay, can't see the issue about it personally as the built in satnav is fine, and you can Bluetooth your music/phone calls. But, we're told that Android Auto is arriving via an update soon, likely January, for those for whom it's a deal breaker.

Personally, I think it looks ok for the most part, the front being the worst aspect - I think it's meant to be friendly, but it looks awkward. But, from inside you can't see it... ...and I think the inside is quite nicely done.

I quite like these (funny face aside!) and what you get for the money is impressive. Hopefully we see more EV's in this sector following a similar philosophy...

It's your car so as long as you are happy with it, my opinion is of no value...Agree with the friendly face, like one of these

There's one near us. Not a fan of the front end design but the rest looks ok for the class of car.

I'm struggling to think of any other hatchback on the market today that doesn't have rear wash wipe though.

I'd recommend taking a look, it's very impressive for the money, not at all the tinny shed you'd imagine.

For the nerds, it's quite techie for a small car:

LFP battery
Oil cooled motor
Liquid cooled inverter system
Slightly confusing info on this, but apparently... a liquid cooled battery too.

And I'll give a shout-out for the brakes too, really excellent, much better than my last ICE car.

it is not quite right from some angles, but from the driver's seat you can't see it...

Yes, it's a strange omission. But on the other hand, I haven't really missed it, probably due to the excellent reversing camera.

They don't have a heat pump either, so it'll use more energy and take longer to warm it up inside. The one thing my Honda eNy1 could do with.

Yes that's right.

It does impact the range if used a lot, but I've experimented and found a level that sets a reasonable compromise between heat and power consumption. And pre heating the car to defrost it in the morning using the app doesn't get old. If you are plugging it in each night it doesn't really matter anyway, you'll have plenty of range.

I m looking for a cheap replacement for our ENY1 that goes back in March, this has caught my eye along with the Spring. But the Renault 5 does also tempt me, however the cheap deals seem to have gone.

We share the shame. Talbot Horizon in brown. My mate was dropped off in a 635CSi which was also brown. Guess who was more popular with the girls.

Fair play OP, not the most attractive car in automotive history but practical and useful, cheap to run and hopefully reliable, which, in today's society makes perfect sense. For an EV it does what it needs to do.

Not my cup of tea, but in some ways it is the future of low cost, low impact cheap city motoring which will soon become more commonplace.

I salute you OP for this post. Piston heads is understandably obsessed with image when to be honest cheap reliable motoring is often all you need.

Electric makes perfect sense in this use case. I bought a second hand Kona EV with the small battery. More than enough range for the round town duties it does
