Have you had any gearbox problems on this? I'm sorely tempted by a Monaro next but all I keep reading is how the gearbox is made of sponge pudding and disintegrates at the first opportunity!

No issues with mine from new(27K miles)
Mine feels at its best when warmed up(bit ruff when cold in the winter)
Fitting a Rip shifter makes a big diffrence, standard can feel a bit like a knife in butter laugh

If you looking for a good car head over to HSV & Monaro forum on P/H
Everyone is very helpful smile
