Well I’m sure he’ll be devastated you feel that way, at least you were bothered enough to post (jesus christ) and I was interested then but 8 years on and still not completed??

What a pointless stupid comment.
I really enjoy reading all of mwstewarts threads, in fact I can’t think of a situation where more money than sense could be less appropriate.

Three posts in six years and you've wasted one of them on that garbage? (jesus christ) and I was interested then but 8 years on and still not completed??

masterman does have a point though.
By the time the car is completed, it'll be ready for another restoration...
Perhaps he should sell it off as one of those "unfinished projects" you so often see in car magazines...
FS, no he doesn't. Who are we to tell the man what to do? it'll be done when it's done for his benefit, not ours.By the time the car is completed, it'll be ready for another restoration...

To those wind bags who have umpteen posts - get a life. I wonder how many enthusiastic readers of his posts have also run out of patience, perhaps meanwhile, he is trying to determine the colour of the wheel nuts, that will take another couple of years before a decision is reached no doubt, providing he can remember where they are of course.

Whilst we are waiting, why don't you share the amazing car you are building? These things take time and some of the best builds take forever. Look at Red Victor 3 almost fifty years in the making.
This isn't a made for Discovery Turbo "project" that takes months of research and planning to execute in a week or some Wheeler Dealer doing basic repairs and running a polishing mop over before saying it's "fully restored" this is real life, real time; really realistic.
I haven't touched my project car since my father passed away last year. Since then I have lost my job and have a zero hour contract now while I'm being vetted for a new career. Zero hours, zero pay but I'm employed so I have discovered how non-universal Universal Credit (UB40) is. I have had plenty of time, no money for parts; but mostly my heart hasn't been in it.
Life and things get in the way sometimes. So what? If you're worried about this project taking too long; get of your arse and be inspired to start your own.
It doesn't matter if you do a crap job (like my projects tend to be) so long as you learn from it.

No-ones making you read this thread. Others actually want to see the modifications and details that go into it, that's what makes it so worthwhile reading it. Yes, it takes time, but it's not at your discretion, and I most certainly don't want to see it rushed to finish.Do one.

You're posting on a thread that a great many people track and find interesting, and which a great many people have a great deal of patience for, telling everyone you're bored of it. This is the height of worthless attention-seeking. Nobody gave a st about your opinion before you posted and we certainly don't now.
Next time you feel like contributing I suggest you simply don't bother, because it will invariably be worthless dreck.
I was not seeking attention I merely asked if the Fiesta had been built and of course I was
a bit miffed when no progress had been made for years. I did not expect ttish remarks
from some of you - I would have expected "no not yet" or perhaps a post from mstuart
with the state of play may have been forth coming. And for the dipstick who said get off my
arse and start my own project - done it son- years ago -Ford Zephyr six engine into a 15cwt van replacing a 1700cc engine with a 2.3 - a whole a lot of work- took about 3 months that was
in 1970/1 when customising was really popular and no substitute for cubic inches was the
watch word. All before fuel injection and re-mapping,computers and mobile phones. I
used to take my boys up to Olympia and Ally Pally for the custom car shows. A lot of us got
our inspiration from a popular magazine at that time called Hot Car , I still have all copies
but nothing lasts forever- the mag started catering for others perhaps with a bigger budget
and renamed it Performance Car. End of an era.
