Jesus.

Big 3 figure speeds in a Mk3 Fiesta must be hairy AF.

Short wheelbase, sod-all aero... yikes

I’m very pleased to see updates on this!

I had 365hp/525Nm on my 2.5T S-Max... even with a Quaife LSD, it lit up the front tyres accelerating in 3rd.
Yours is going to be crazy!

Definitely go big with the power. You have a Ferrari for GT stuff, this should be for scaring the crap out of you.

Keep the updates coming.

Great to see an update on this. smile
I'd prepped the normal response for someone bumping the tread asking for updates.

I think the definition of QUICK is correct in this case!

I'm very behind with car project updates but here's the Fiesta powertrain that I'm fitting over this weekend.

After we some more changes the max power figure has been revised to nigh on 700bhp at the flywheel depending on how far I want to stress things.

I'll come back and edit the post later with more photos to show the other things that have been going on.

Was ready to get angry with another "is this still being done post" etc

Opens up thread and sees the thing of beauty and smiles and then smiles even more after the 700bhp comment.

Good up date Mark,

I won't post my drafted thread about an Austin A35 I bought in 2002 to build as a historic racer, and is still a shell in my dad's garage then! rofl

OP thanks for the update, always great to read about any of your cars! Can't wait to read more about any recent work thumbup

I think that you should make the gearbox easily removable as I fear it will become somewhat of a disposable item!

Not sure what is in the gearbox, but hope its straight cut as helicals may leave their teeth on the sump magnet. Sure I read earlier in the thread of completion about 8 years ago smile
Looking forward to this progressing at last !!

hey stewart, the pollen filter housing mod you done from a mk5 fiesta, is it a direct simple fit onto the mk3 without much faffing around? i got huge issues with my fan vents everytime i turn the heater on i get slapped in the face with dust or even a leaf or two. lol
