Surely the Cayman R suspension does Chris? *** After a quick google, it does fit. Chris
"This conversion kit comes with shocks and springs from the new Cayman R, an extremely sporty suspension setup. This means stiff, short springs, and four shock absorbers tuned for hard compression and rebound. The body is 20 mm lower at the front and rear axle than that of a standard Boxster S.
Ideal for 2009-2011 Cayman or Cayman S models with standard suspension. Cars with PASM will loose PASM functionality, and will see a minimal drop in ride height."

Hi J_D,as i said Cayman R springs dont fit on the standard shocks(as i have bought a pair expecting them to fit)The owner of the car only wants to lower it,and as its under manufacture's warranty, doesn't want any arguments or reasons for not paying for warranty repairs.
I have spoken to as many spring manufacture's that i can, they do have springs for Gen 1 987 but nothing for Gen 2.

Ahh, I didn't realise you meant literally only springs. I have spoken to as many spring manufacture's that i can, they do have springs for Gen 1 987 but nothing for Gen 2.

As the R suspension fits the Gen 1 cayman, it's annoying that gen1 spring kits don't fit gen2
