These are in my 991S and have been perfect for my 5 & 3 year olds. That said things are getting a bit tight in there now and I’m selling the car.

The BeSafe izi turn i-size fits in the back seat of my 991.2 C4S rear facing and also rotates round since it's a bit narrower than other seats.

https://www.besafe.com/en/product/izi-turn-i-size/

It's far from perfect, but it's been workable for a 1.5 year old.

The front seat has to be fairly forward while rear facing and would possibly allow a short passenger, but I doubt it'd be a comfortable ride.
It looks like forward facing would give more space to a front passenger. I spin the seat round when not in use to allow the front passenger seat to go back.

I also considered putting the seat in the front with the air bag deactivated to allow a passenger in the back/make it easier to remove the seat when not needed, however, we couldn't get the seat out of the rear seat isofix points.

For a 996 Cab recommended from this thread, we have used a Halfords 1-2-3 kids seat.

I had to take the seat base and back out of the car first (easy enough), and for the cab, cut off the handle at the top of the child seat, now it fits perfectly into the space, as tested by our 2yo daughter all the way to St Moritz and back.

Another top tip - get one of those stick on ring holders for your phone, and it hooks onto teh coat hook perfectly to assist in entertaining the nipper.

I’ve been using the Porsche Junior G1 for my 2yr old daughter for the last 6 months. Good seat but it does have a lot of gubbins at the back which pushes the seat forward a little. Not a lot of legroom for her.

I suspect the G2 will be right for her soon and actually give her more legroom.

I'll put up some pictures of the Halfords 1-2-3 seat up at the weekend, may be a good comparison.

Katie is 2 years 2 months now, and pretty tall for her age (90cm), however fortunately for her, her mum is a short arse which is probably what is helping us!

The Halfords seat also converts to a "booster" when they reach the right height.

Seem to recall that back in teh 70's my dad used to just bunjee cord me into the back of his 2.4 targa, shame we cant do simple solutions like that any more hehe
