Just replaced the battery on my 2005 997. Now the interior and footwell lights do not extinguish when the car is started or the alarm set (as they should do). The door lights re operating correctly. Spoke to the OPC but they didn't have anything to offer. Can anybody help?

I'm sure I saw a similar problem and the solution given was to disconnect the battery and reconnect it.

You can try the battery diconnect and reconnect but it may be a case of coding resetting with a system tester.

Besically, the chap had the same problem after changing the battery, and it needed one of the control modules to be re-coded.

I have never been able to get my front luggage compartment or engine compartment lights to come on (997.1) my interior lights work ok though - could this be a similar problem? or has anyone got any ideas? thanks
