Not that actual car..but seen a lot of others on here that get labelled as mint/perfect and need lots of money spent on them...tbh 99% of so-called excellent condition cars out there are rubbish..a challenge for you..find me a perfect 964 turbo 3.6 with low mileage,no paint, perfect service history,no refurb, not an import,no wrong parts on it..i'll give you 75k now..its not possible imo.
I doubt that car exists.
So if you wanted one you would to accept that it is 20 years old and may have had a bit of paint and
may only have 15 stamps in the book instead of 20.
I'm pretty fussy when it comes to cars, but you have to be realistic or you'll never actually own one.

You are paying 80k for a car where the seller(and to make it worse is a trade seller)is vague..sounds like you should walk away..its a 50k car that probably wants 20k spent on it to make it any good imo.

Have you seen it then?

rofl what an absolute cocknocker

Thank god these 3.6 turbo threads don't come up too often, it'll only be a few more days before kayc crawls back under which ever rock he normally hides under.

I dont think i am being unrealistic..i have a 996 gt3rs with 8k miles..never been in the rain..100% perfect condition and history..but if and when i sell it i would expect top money..not some tramped about/import/tracked/ piece of painted ste that suddenly becomes fashionable like a lot of the air-cooleds have become and sell for lots..i made 18k on my 3.3turbo in 3 years as it suddenly became desirable..i sold it because it want good enough for me..was deemed mint by others though.

I presume you are upset that you sold your 964 turbo?

I presume with your well informed opinion you have owned a wide range of top quality sort after 911's?
Presume I only need experience of a wide range of cocknockers to spot one. You are a knob.

& no one likes you

Maybe you should start your own thread about how wonderful you and your cars are?
A breakdown of the profit you've made on each of them would be nice.
It will give us all something to really aspire to.

never been in the rain..[quote]

I really don't get these comments and not sure anyone can make them unless they bought the car new (which i`m assuming you did in your case)

As hard as one tries to have a "fine weather car" only inevitability if you drive the car and you live in the UK you will occassionally get caught in the rain.

A better comment would be not used in winter with salt on the roads. A bit of water is no big deal and won't do any damage.

A bit of help would be appreciated. I could do with a good investment with the current state of the economy.

What should I buy and when should I aim to exit?

But even if it did, is there a problem with rain that I should know about?

funny when you owned it you deemed it perfect or there abouts, when your 3rs is 20 years old it will need paint and other bits same as every other car.

I think actually you will find a few guys on here have bought very nice 911's with a few conversations with myself over the last few years, and I'm not judging your car at all...all I'm saying is I would still buy a perfect 964 turbo 3.6 if I could find one,my standards are just very high so I have been forced to buy a later rare model 911 to achieve what I want for a toy.I want a no drama,no mumble history car and on a car like the 3.6 its hard to find as a few years ago they were cheap and not deemed worthy of spending 3k a year to maintain, hence the majority have flawed provenance .

rather than wk over a cars service history, its better to drive the thing and instead of pissing on someones joy of buying a new toy better to just keep your opinions to yourself.
if there are no perfect 3.6t about then thats fine just enjoy the one you get just because they are overpriced thats just the market not the car if you dont like it buy something else, you really want one kc but the market keeps leaving you behind.
i have had mine a few years now and its the best fun ive had with my pants on.
