Well put it this way i doubt you would lose your shirt on a purchase.

Which 2wd version would you buy from the current cars available?

Impossible to say unless you view them all, what looks good may not be when you look up close. We could do with all sellers to turn up with their cars to the middle of the country so could view and compare them all. Takes so long just to view 1 car and when you have so little free time makes it very difficult. Especially when you travel miles to find a car is not as immaculate as described!!

Ok sorry, what I meant was from the cars advertised which 2wd ones would you show an Interest in? The Sarah cox car looks cheap, maybe even to cheap even with the body kit.

Just had a look, is it discussed as part of another thread or am I looking for a thread solely on the sc car? Thanks

No hard backed seats but fair price? Could the wheels of been factory ordered, they look to big?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

I would use a specialist to report on any car I choose.

Scom car looks good but I imagine they will want a premium because its been fettled with and that doesn't make sense to me on the 993.

SCOM? Think of a price then normally double it. FWIW I wasn't impressed with a 993 C2 they had for sale some time back, the scuttle repair for example, you could see the masking line below the windscreen rubber. rolleyes ..... and it was expensive.
On face value, the one on your link looks pretty good value for money.

So mine with lower miles and being a 97 on an R must be worth gazillions now. I love these threads! cloud9

And yet they seemingly fail to fill the arches...

Yes, they are either 18" Turbo hollow spokes (very exp but light) or solid spokes from the C2S. The car looks like it is on the the standard option suspension.

I have the same wheels on mine but with optional lowered suspension M033. This is lowered but not uprated, that would be M030. See my profile picture.

That black one does look like good value, but it depends on its actual condition of course.

As I am currently looking I will let you know a few things, SCOM car at 37k, might get at 35k at a push, still too much for me although clearly a nice car. 911 sport car looks lovely however accident write off in 96, so prob a big hit in view of the value of the car at that point. I would be interested at the right price but they are not keen to move on 24k which IMO is too much for car with that history. Above is all my opinion not wanting to upset anyone!

Well that changes things a bit! The car might still be a good one of course, but a write off is a write off and the value has to be adjusted accordingly.

If it was recorded in 96 when it was still fairly new, then it must have been a big one.
