Driving SlippyDiff's tweaked 996.1 GT3
Discussion
OP, haven't had a chance to read the thread fully yet...will do later tonight. However, I see people are already beginning to chuck you the keys to their P&Js...good going
My offer is that if you want a back to back with the other 996s in the range then I can provide a 996.2 CS and a 996 RS - both on OEM engines.

Sounds like a plan Responded to your message.Agree with previous comments; it really is a breath of fresh air to see threads of this nature on PH; like minded individuals sharing their P&J and by the looks of things, having a jolly good time to boot, what more could you wish for Many thanks once again to Slippy, IMIA and cmoose for your efforts
Good write up; lovely car.
I write beautifully. Anyone care to give me a 997 GT3 for a few months.? I'll provide a detailed write up. I even promise to like it.
No takers? Oh well.
Instead, may I come along for the wine? I would even invite Demon if he promises not to say 'Cayman R' more than 50 times.

I'll be the judge of that Remember my eulogy to the 964 RS ? Well here's a challenge, do the same for whatever it is you're currently driving (Cayman S PDK ?) and post it on here I get to comment first, others can form an orderly queue ..........
Easy - get in it; start it up; sounds alright; drives alright; bish-bash-bosh; home in time for tea. I will say this for it - it is the perfect speed for a road car, in my view. Fast enough to make you have to brake hard sometimes but slow enough to be usable, just about, without being silly.
great read and really enjoyed that.
was especially good as jumped in my guards red mk2 6.3 shortly after. took on board the bit about the cockpit and have to agree.
as for the 'TROLL' then I don't even read what he writes now as its always the same. never underestimate the predictability of stupidity eh!
get out in some more cars and more reports please.

My word! I've fallen asleep and woken up in a time when this forum was a nice place to be, people were nice to each other and threads were actually interesting..
Go **** yourself race boy! Mk2's better too, but Slippy knows that.......secretly.......just never willing to admit it in public.
