That stinks.

Has anyone let the dealer know what they are selling, or do you think the dealer knows exactly what they are selling?

That GT4 is a joke price anyway for a 15 comfort spec even if it was a straight original car.

For track day insurance with Lockton they only pay out 90% of agreed value if you total it on a track...

May be still technically worth it in some cases...

What do you reckon the HIGHEST spec GT4’s out there are worth ? What are they selling at ?

The major selling point is the near factory fresh low mileage.

Nobody wouldn't expect a car with that mileage to have such an eventful life.

my yellow GT4 was put up for sale at a reputable specialist, crashed and insurance company paid out. I haven't seen it for sale but if anyone is buying a 2000-3000 mile 65 plate yellow clubsport GT4, feel free to me

Not so bad then....

Does anyone know of an insurer whom offers a better track day insurance, other than for a total loss they will pay out 90% of the agreed premium. My insurer stipulates no increase in premium for track use, only an increase in the Excess.

That’s to say that if you do damage to the value of 15,000 you pay 10,000 of it and they pay five...

In other words your excess becomes 10% of the agreed value of the car in any claim on the track, with my insurance co.. Does anyone know of a more favourable track day insurance than this?

Even the best top spec latest lowest mileage GT4 clubsports sell for no more than £5k over list.

Ceramic braked cars are worth little more than steel braked cars, unlike GT3s.

It looks like this car re-appeared with a clean history and was promptly removed from the sale after being posted all over Facebook!
