This morning it took me an hour and a half just to get milk! The traffic was unbelievable.

Commiserations, that looks a nightmare. Hopefully your other half was sympathetic to your plight when you explained the circumstances around your delayed journey smile

Utter gridlock. You must have the patience of a saint.

Whoa! Why didn't anyone warn me there are consequences to my actions? Why hasn't the Government kept my car 'safe'?

I've spent 96 hours 'cleaning' without rest to restore normality. What's that MrsOC? We need more milk?

Well I think all 911 fans prefer their rear ends. Me included.

A rear wiper would finish off perfectly in my opinion.

Was it the 964 where the spoilers sometimes got stuck? I seem to remember they were sometimes referred to as making a 'coffee grinder' noise and failing.
They normally just need decent maintenance, ie all the pivots lubricating, along with the spoiler “rack” and motor “pinion”.
Dunno if the 964 is the same, but the 993 suffers periodically from coffee-grinder syndrome. It's not a lubrication/cleaning issue; rather the bearing (circled below) fails, eventually, living in a high-wear environment.

They fail every 13.5 years. Coincidentally, mine is being replaced by a very expensive specialist as we speak.

Hi All

Pick up date for mine Porsche today. Have been a RRS driver for the last 11 years or so and so very excited to be in something different. 1 drive completed and it was excellent. Loved the power.

Cayenne GTS MY23.

Regards

Thanks. Managed to do a couple of hundred miles in a day when my son said he was coming home from Uni for the weekend. Usually he gets the train but I offered to get him just so I could use it smile

What a great drive compared to my 4.4 RRS! Only niggles are minor. e.g. I miss having a simple knob to turn the screens brightness up and down when driving at night, it would be better for car play nav to show up in the instrument cluster and finally I do miss my automatic deployable steps from the RRS. All Massively first world problems outweighed by a great overall car to drive in my humble opinion.
