Life Lesson number Four: Never park your car under a tree.
I live very very close to some massive trees. Can not be avoided. Constant bird poops is a fact if life for me here if I am parking on or near the road.

You may have missed my previous visit to the OPC... for the non911, the word 'fat' ain't fat enough. And this is the 'fat' angle of the 993.

I love my Taycan CT, but it is ****ing massive. Previous daily drivers have included a few (very handy) VW T5 & T6 vans and before that couple of Land Rover Discovery 3's and a Defender 110. they Taycan is wider and longer than any and still only has 4 seats. Worse still, I struggle to get even one mountain bike into the boot.

I do fondly remember my long gone 986 S. It was a brilliant car and I am sure you will have lots of terrific drives with it. Enjoy
2023 Interclassics stuff:

Great kit from the https://www.speedservice.nl/ Dutch Speed Service outfit.
This is their 3rd outlaw based on a 964 Targa and powered by a 3.8.

Maybe think again before you order your Singer.

It’s a lovely car, if targas are your thing.

But €480K ? No chance.
Singer is now a well established brand, with a long waiting list for their products, and as a result of that, cast iron residuals.
Try selling that Speed Service Targa for anything close to what it cost, and be prepared to take the mother of financial baths.
Bail out of Singer under the same circumstances, and there maybe some pain, but I’d suggest it’ll be minimal in comparison.
A spur of the moment trip to Snowdonia in not such great weather turned out to be rather excellent. Having heard lots about speed cameras and police around every corner I was very cautious to keep within the speed limits but given the weather it didn’t alter the fun factor.

Great great roads! During lockdown, when Wales was strictly off limits, I sadly had to head up that way due to a family bereavement. I took the Porsche. A bitter sweet day, but those roads with little / no traffic is something I'll never forget, especially strange given the circumstances and as I felt I kind of shouldn't of been there, but actually was well within allowances at the time. The Pork was Racing Yellow, so hardly inconspicuous!!!!A short video: https://youtu.be/iFscM-eLUZ0

Absolutely gorgeous! Crayon is a stunning colour, Monday was a corker too! Was up at https://www.killeavycastle.com/If you get a chance on a good day take a run up, nice spot!
With the parents for a wee bite to eat as I was off, can’t wait to meet up for a chin wag over a coffee and get a gawp at your car.

Was putting the rear install off due to how hard some on YouTube were making it look…..tbh it was very straightforward as long as you not cutting corners!
Sometimes follow your gut instincts on how to do something turns out to be the right way to go!

Rear is easy. I fixed mine [mostly] all by myself. [I had a little bit of help from professionals where required]Sometimes follow your gut instincts on how to do something turns out to be the right way to go!

Copart delivered the car like this

I changed all the suspension and driveshaft and got the hub, brake and wheel back on and then sent if for alignment and brake pipe replacement at my chosen Porsche Specialist. So it then looked like this.

And now it looks like this
