Has anyone bought a pair that can comment on sizing? .. the site suggests buying half a size down.. Confused!!

Yes and I would buy at least a half size bigger than you normally take.

They come up a tad snug....not very small, just a touch

Taffy, have you seen the note, the new shoes are supposedly a larger fit. You may want to stick with the same size as before if ordering the McQueens.
