By the looks my old one (can remember the PPF fitment on the rear arches), and it's not a clubsport.

Bought it from the Porsche main dealer in Aachen on 22 July 2004 from the first owner with 22600 klms for at that time the grand sum of £88500!

I guess back then it was a lot - better to have loved and lost and all that smile

Absolutely! And at the prices then didn't mind using it on tracks all over the EU.

In many ways they feel like a 964RS on steroids. 1320kg from memory. That said the dampers are far better. First time I drove a 993GT2. I am on a 3 lane A road about to hit a pothole. Not big. But could not avoid because of cars next to me. In a 964RS you automatically wince just before you hit the hole. In the GT2 no wince necessary. The standard car on K16's is not fast by any means. The evo with K24's livens things up very nicely. Come off a roundabout on K16's no drama. With K24's you are lighting the rears up sideways with a big stupid grin on your face. Fantastic car. Accept one thing. Even with new boost actuators the power delivery was inconsistent. Sometimes you would nail it and it absolutely flew. Proper quick. Carrera GT quick. Another time you would be thinking where has the power gone. A very good mate kindly let me drive his Clubsport around Silverstone GP circuit. Best handling out of the box car I have driven. Having to grab sixth gear down the hanger straight tells you how quick a K24 car can be. Bloody awesome and I owe him a debt of gratitude for that experience.
