Anyway to turn off auto door unlock? 981

My 981 unlocks the doors when I remove the key from the ignition, is there anyway to stop this? There is nothing in the PCM, only auto door lock.
It really annoys me and I'm surprised it's not been brought up before. Scenario, you park up waiting for someone and you turn the engine off, only the key is still in the ignition and therefore you've only got a few minutes before the MOLL battery dies and you need to call the AA.
I remove the key from the ignition to stop this but then the car auto unlocks leaving you vulnerable to any opportunist car jacker who fancy a go of your sports car. I know there is a central locking button inside the car but it doesn't give you any indication that the car is actually locked.
Just earlier this week I was parked up when after a few minutes someone approached my window and started asking for money, fortunately I had remembered to press the manual door lock button but I would prefer not to have to do this.

Without the sarcastic teasing... If you turn the ignition off and do not remove the key does this solve your minor problem? Engine and major electrics off, doors still locked?
Otherwise just manually locking your doors after you remove the key seems like a very minor inconvenience.
(As an aside, I do understand your security concern. There are Youtube videos and newspaper stories about people carjacking or stealing stuff from inside cars with their owners still inside them. In fact in my home town I witnesses a 20-something year old guy run up to a car stopped at a pedestrian crossing, open the passenger side door, grab the drivers handbag, leave the door wide open and peg it to safety amongst a council estate. It was a good few years ago now but these things do happen. I comfortably walk around that council estate and the vast majority of people living there are decent folk, but a small minority will definitely take advantage of you if they think they can get away with it.)

(So bright that some painted over it to dim/remove it - if you cant see yours it is worth checking it hasn't been doctored)
The red LED does not display if the keys are out of the ignition, so the only way to tell if the car is locked is to wind down the windows and try open the door handle from the outside.(So bright that some painted over it to dim/remove it - if you cant see yours it is worth checking it hasn't been doctored)

With the key in he ignition you are still powering the dash, lights, PCM and a 300 watt sound system etc.
Even stop start will only stop the engine for max of a few minutes. Add a 4 year old battery into the equation and you are going to run into problems leaving the key in the ignition for more than a few minutes.
