If any one knows the owner / driver of this 911 TT Cab , then tell him I have approx 15 miles of in car video footage of his appalling driving along the westbound M4 this afternoon at approx 1:30 pm (including a face shot in a 50 mph section) .

He was driving like a utter moron, undertaking 8 vehicles at excessive speed (on video) and nearly forcing 3 of them into the central reservation including me.

I've submitted my in car footage of his appalling driving to Thames Valley Police with a view to hopefully getting this moron prosecuted for dangerous driving and a lengthy ban ...he can expect to get a knock on his door in the next few days.

He is an embarrassment to all Porsche drivers and he needs to be put off the road for other roads user safety.

Any chance of posting a highlights reel of the bad driving here? You know, to help to find the culprit etc.

Why didn't you pull over to the left, if there was space there?

BiB took my witness statement this afternoon and will also contact a couple of drivers whose reg details are also visble on video to corroborate.

There was no space to pull to the inside w/o cutting up those driving in the mid lane - and the the dork driving in W4YKS can clearly be seen seen jinking in and out of every availabe space from the inside to the outside lane throughout the entire video w/o making hardly any progress.

I'll post the video on You tube after the guy gets nailed and he gets a ban - I'd hate to think that the moron gets off on a 'technicality ' wink

So the OP apparently drives a 997tt but abides by the highway code and has never so much as exceeded speed limit, nor accelerated in anger (0-60) which I also believe to be an offence.

Honestly OP - I hope karma bites you in the arse for this . The moral standing imo would have been to mind your own business as opposed to wasting your Sunday giving a statement, now someone gets screwed for a bit of silyness of which we're all guilty of at some time or another - what if there was an emergency somewhere that the guy needed to get to?

Read up on duress of circumstances and maybe whilst your there get a life.

Hmm, I'd have slept on that OP. In the heat of the moment, I'm often convinced that a particular course of action is correct.

The next morning, the exact opposite approach is often the correct one. Think you may have been very impulsive there. That said, I wasn't there.

I would have probably posted here, with a description (and probably not the full plate), suggesting the driver have a word with himself.

It would be interesting to consider how you managed to get 15 miles of footage of this guy whilst driving safely and legally yourself. So he's undertaking at excessive speed - how did you keep up with him? How did you get the face shot? Were you in control of your emotions whilst chasing him down the motorway - given he's wound you up to extent he obviously has?

Have you got some special vigilante qualification on your licence??

You might actually find the police have something to say about your behaviour in this matter and the irony is you've handed them all the evidence they need.

Next time take a chill pill?
