Clear enough to Porsche owners/enthusiasts yes.To others they all look the same, pretty sure a lot of my car friends wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 997.1 and 997.2, and they definitely wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 991.1 and 991.2.

Yep, fair point! Probably is clear enough but I'm just triple checking because as you say, it is a lot of money. Porsche is a new and exciting prospect to me and since I've arrived at the 997 having driven 2 Caymans and 2 911s this is all a bit of an education

Are you interested in a Black 997 Gen 2 Targa 4S with PDK and PSE? DM me if you'd like more details. It has 22 months OPC warranty and no servicing required until August. It's going in for its MoT on Thursday... Windy
Thanks for the offer, at this stage it could be too late. I will be in touch for details if not. Thanks thoEvening, could anyone offer any thoughts on this?

I'm presuming/hoping the warranty will be relatively solid?! History looks good and MOT history only has failures for tyres and windscreen wipers. Existing tyres are Michelins
Having taken on a lot of your ideas, I'm considering going in at a much lower end of the budget than I'd first thought but with a view that I will get to use the car daily without fear of loading on miles but also get some track tuition and keep a war chest for a few inevitable replacement parts.
Is this a good balance to be able to drive daily without worrying about using it?
Is 70k miles too much to be considered as a daily? If it helps, having driven a few, I will be keeping my other vehicle to use for part of the week..

I suspect the steering wheel will have the buttons rather than the more desirable paddles. Not the end of the world for some but is a deal breaker for others.https://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/8192909-porsch...

Easy retrofit for £800, hardly a deal breaker. Price is OK, but I think you'd regret not getting an S for a few k more. You get a lot more stuff as standard, eg PASM which isn't present on this one.
997 GTS on eBay auction ends in an hour current highest bid is £52.1k
79k mild but it’s a manual RWD Coupe. Fantastic DD for someone

Looks like someone picked up a great deal with that. Would have been well over £60k from a dealer.79k mild but it’s a manual RWD Coupe. Fantastic DD for someone

Not bothered me personally as the lights only show stuff I use once a year (at tracks etc.)
Yes there have famously been quite a few rehashes of the Lotus cars including the Evora.
They redesigned the Evora and gave it a refresh at least under the skin with the 400 which has had pretty much universally positive press. The 410 is a special edition so it has a load of carbon and a nice ducktail spoiler, carbon seats etc. Ours is in the graphite metallic with yellow detailing the same as this press car:
