In NP&E recently there's been the rise of Turbotbloke (turbobloke), Alpenstars (Alpinestars) and TTwitty (TTwiggy).

I pretty much disagree with everything he posts. The problem is the subtle piss take of PH members using this type of obvious trolling. Is it acceptable - if so, expect lots more of it. Or are we asking the mods to take action?I'd guess that a number of the low post "new" accounts are split between returning banned PH'ers and current active PH'ers on a wind up. Then there are just the weird posters like "HumanDoing" last year who created about 4 or 5 different personas just to post about how much he hated the Mk3 Focus RS, how it was crap, etc, and even had discussions with his own alter egos 
There have been a couple of newly aquired posters on PH over the last few weeks where, based on the way the user is posting, you can guess they've been on here for years and are currently banned but returning under a new login.

I suspect some only get caught out once a thread ends up at a stage where a moderator intervenes. If you feel that's the case just report it to the mods and let them review it, but tbh, most of the time when i see posts from some of these accounts it's easier just to skip over the post rather than get wound up by it, or drawn into an arguement (which is probably what they're after anyway).

TTwiggy's comment about tedious I will take to mean consistent, and definitely rationally argued i.e. based on evidence - therefore annoying to those who disagree.
Whether TTwiggy disagrees or BigMon disagrees with me on absolutely anything, that's all by the by, tolerating disagreement is what plurality and open debate are all about.
Not sure that having lookalike PH IDs is good for clarity and understanding on the forums but that's something for PH management to decide on.

Made a great thing about reading tenpence's prison thread. Not sure a newbie would have known about that thread from many years ago.
